Lee Henson: I agree with your critique of Scott Alexander's theory, but there's one of Robert Hanson that I haven't seen before until I saw it in your book. He says individuals use the switch between focusing on dealing with issues via the all encompassing norm and force talkety collective. And this actually, I might like maybe I like this because it sort of mirrors my liberals read conservatives watch TV. It's just there's people who have this inclination towards towards the written word and towards to more sophisticated kinds of analysis then people who are just sort of instinctual.
