To read psalm 22, it just sings. And there's a lot that could be said here. My god, my god, why hast thou forsaken me? We're familiar with this line, of course, because christ says it from the cross. But then it also points to the perfect israelite, the great example of what it would mean to be in covenant relationship with god. Through his triumph, we can understand our own experiences have hope that they're going to work out right.
Dr. Shon Hopkin returns and discusses the influence and importance of Psalm 22 in understanding the life, suffering, and triumph of Messiah, Jesus Christ.
