Proud of yourself is the great equalizer in life. You give yourself your own leverage just by being proud of yourself. Turn to it when you're doubting what you stand for, where you're tempted to let someone pull you back down. It's like that quote i really like from a franklin d roosevelt: courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the assessment that something else is more important than fear. That's how i look at life. I won't throw it away because i'm proud of myself forgetting to this moment."
