The cost of a prescription, especially in dermatology and creams, can vary tremendously based on which pharmacy the prescription is sent to. Oftentimes, we need to use specialty pharmacies that have deals with the pharmaceutical company where they have to offer it at a certain price. If you found that you had a cream and it was super expensive, I would ask the doctor to make sure they send it to specialty pharmacy. There's a website called goodRx.com. And generally, speaking over there, you could see the ranges.
