The Patterns Around Race Work
i really pay attention to patterns. One of the beautiful patterns around race work is that there's never been a time when there weren't people on the side of oppression, right? The people who were benefiting from the oppression. And i think that that is so important for who we are as a species and what we may or may not be capable of when it comes to healing. Ye, you know, we're not really in a place yet where white people in this country are prepared to look at the magnitude of the legacy of white supremacy america and try to make reparations for that. That feels like it'll take the rest of my life.
