Intermittent fasting is a good strategy for cutting calories like overall calories. Calorie is what really matters in my opinion, is your weekly calorie deficit or surplus. The negative about that strategy was the hunger was a lot less manageable because one of the big benefits of intermittent fasting is ghrelin adaptation. So yeah, I frankly don't advise it.
