The Department of Transportation's Plan for New Rulemaking

The US Department of Transportation has announced its plan for new rulemaking. There is a possibility that this could all eventually lead to compensation for passengers when an airline control will cancelation or significant delay occurs. These that are very similar to the EU 261 Comp Scheme would be offered meal and meal voucher, overnight accommodations, transportation to and from a hotel and re-booking.
