The Power of Numbers
I remember hearing very frequently when we put out our first album that there was a big mismatch between the emotion of the lyrics and the emotion of music. There's an example on the new right where we're working on a record right now called Okay, Human. And there's a song called Numbers. Matt always would say what he loves about my music writing was the sound like somebody waving a big flag from across a stadium just in triumphed.
