The Different Types of Procedural Memory
The capacity theory of working memory is basically that like you, working memory is a certain size. And if the lego bricks make a big structure, then you can fit more by the fact that they're a big structure. Down below that, you've got things like dividing long-term memory into different parts. So you've got procedural memory and declarative memory. And thenDeclarative memory divides into episodic memory. The other one, factual, what's it called again? Symantec memory. But actually, it's slightly different because they're actually different kind of subworking memories.
