Is There a Lifetime Ban on Asylum in Britain?
This week we're promised a bill reportedly called the illegal migration bill. It's intended to deter migrants by immediately deporting them to Rwanda or another safe third country and banning them from ever again claiming asylum in Britain. But even some conservatives are fighting this problematic aren't they? Yes, I think it's for two reasons there's a practical reason that it's a thing you announce with no clarity on how you would carry it out. After all nobody has yet been successfully deported to Rwanda so the idea that we can deport more people there is not in current reality. And then on the more sort of ethical moral questions around it I think people do have a question about whether or not a lifetime ban
