How Long Would It Take You to Walk That Distance by Foot to Be in Nain?
The widow of Nain was located about 25 miles southwest of Capernaum. Luke is going to refer to it as a city, though he goes on to present a village-like atmosphere with a community mourning the loss of the widow's son. So what would drive Jesus to leave Capernaum and take that distance by foot to be in Nain the next day? I need to point that out because that's the Messiah we worship. That is who he is.
