Google Chrome Extensions With 87 Million Downloads

Vladimir Pauland, the developer of adblock, plus has written a blog post about malicious Google Chrome extensions. There are apparently 34 different extensions that Vladimir did discover that had a total of 87 million downloads. Most of them have already been removed from the Google Chrome ad on store. Now Splunk in its forwarder also patches a critical vulnerability.
