I think fully unlocked frame rates in modern games, unless you have a super high end CPU are actually kind of pretty inconsistent experiences, especially modern ones. I feel like this would be a great thing, like an eco mode in the Nvidia control panel or AMD control panel. This is all basically based on giving developers tools to monitor power consumption on a console. And to make adjustments during game development. But there is talk of actually producing eco modes and eco options that are kind of user racing,. So, you know, maybe you would want to have an eco mode for your game in addition to a performance and quality mode. It out to PlayStation 5 as well.
