The Economic Consequences of a Debt Shutdown?
We have never had a debt to fault. Treasuries is the bedrock of global financial markets. The economic consequences would be very severe from a debt default. But luckily, i think the risk of that is pretty small right now. I really think we should abandon the debt sealing altogether and just deal with spending and taxes as they come up.
