The Different Incentives on Politicians
Once someone is, once it's a non democratic society, you kind of have to just put it in a different category. Once either those wedges, one of the wedges is severe enough, or you get lots of them in the same fault line and that mobilization happens, you start to see a different set of incentives on politicians. The incentives on politicians change is basic core mathematical, electoral sort of incentives. And that seems to me to be a real litmus test of where you are with these things. It's interesting that, you know, the Tories will have people that really lean into this stuff and labor at the time is doing quite the opposite.
