The Future of Communication

The haptic bracelet works through two people sending remote touches to each other via vibrations. Vibrations can be sent to each other anywhere in the world as long as the bracelet is connected via Bluetooth to a phone. Gileyn Boddington is a reader in digital immersion at the University of Greenwich and founder of Body Data Space. She spent the last 20 years researching body responsive technologies and digital intimacy. But is the technology actually a valuable next step in our move towards digital intimacy or is it all a bit gimmicky? We'll find out a little bit later.
