"It's not that you're worthless or you don't have anything to offer. Or it's that it's actually the opposite of all those things, right? Like I had a high school English teacher who just looked at me and she said, yeah, that's your job," he says. "I hope that cultivating those habits of mind before they get to INRAND or Fox News will be a little bit protective."
