The Evolution of the Lillithi in Ancient Mesopotamia

Most of the incantation bowls are written in the third person. A majority of the people writing them were women, which is wonderful. There is also a story that ends up being told about Lillith where there is a woman who has all of her children snatched by a horrible monster. She decides she's had enough and makes a sanctuary of metal to hide from it. Her brother chases down the monster and saves the child. And forces the monster to reveal his names so that the monster can be driven away. This story actually seems to originate in Greece where there is an version of Le Machu called Lamia who combines with another child stealing monster called Gallou. In Mesopot
