What Is It About the Octopus?

An octopus has an independent understanding of its environment and interacts with it accordingly, whereas so many animals seem to be geared mostly for basic survival. Octopusts are not a social creature; they live on their own from birth. They're also relatively sheltered in the sense that they're dependent young and their parents o their mother take care of them. It seems to be the case that it's really very, very strong ecological pressure.
