The Role of Media Theory in Urbanism
I was also really fascinated by your use of media theory. When we move through the city today we encounter loads of messages, we encounter billboards,. It's not uncommon to find walls with embedded screens that change and display advertisements. So if you approach media theory from a kind of kit larian perspective or a maklue influence perspective, where it's not just about the screens but about information being transformed as it moves through some kind of environment, I think it becomes possible to see all kinds of aspects of the city through this lens.
