The Importance of Religion

There is no one point in which professing Christians to more differ one from another. Many will probably be heard to their spirits to find so much that it pertains to religious affection here condemned. Perhaps indignation and contempt will be excited in others. I am sensible it is much more difficult to judge impartially of that which is the subject of this discourse in the midst of the dust and smoke. A such a state of controversy, its this land is now in. Above things of this nature, it is more difficult to write impartially. So it is moreicult to read impartially. As I have found this has always been objected to by some ever since early controversies about religion.
