The Importance of Airbags
Airbags were originally developed to protect astronauts and crash landings of spacecrafts. Since 1990, airbags became a standard issue feature in cars. The most people to be affected badly by an airbag are short people, infants, and children. In 1999, a 32-year-old six-foot man was driving home from a Halloween party when the airbag hit his face causing him to choke on lollipop.
