E t f, or the philosophy behind commodity strategies, started 20 years ago. Forbes was going to be an index provider for a fund when two thousand eight happened. We've had direction products in forty act since 20 12, and then flipped it to a forty act e t f in 20 17. Our view was there is a better way: I want to be long n the commodities going up, and at very least i want to be out of the commodities going down.
