After learning sell by marketing, some people have a hard time letting go of old paradigms. I was guilty of this, the very first group of cattle I bought after had gone to sell by school. They had just an outstanding, awesome average daily gain. And I held onto them too long, took them over that price cliff and ended up selling a really undervalued set of cattle. You need to sit down and figure the entrance by your cows and look at the markets and see what they're selling for.
