i agree with the recommendation to start screening at age 40, and i agree with the recommendation that it should be done yearly. But i feel that annual screening at age forty is the right thing. In terms of clinical exam, i agree note the general recommendation. The recommendations are a little bit vague, because there's data in various directions related to the efficacy of clinical exam in picking up breast cancer. And again, that relates to what i was talking about earlier, in that doing a clinical breast exam is so incredibly challenging particularly in premenapoztle women who have relatively much denser tissue. I think it's all for the best. Self is probably the trickiest but most effective way
