"Creativity is not precious. It's the domain of every person," he says. "When you learn the fundamentals of a creative process in the context of one particular application or domain, it's sort of like what you were just talking about." He adds that we have all these faculties, we've been taught to not use them. And so this was something I was trying to do at five in the morning and on the weekends and didn't come easy but ultimately had to follow the book.
