The right model of the world, you use that phrase, is humility. You can't just think in terms of complicated identities and accept everyone contains multitudes. And i think gaining that kind of humility, rigor to keep questioning your assumptions, is an important quality for a leader. The second plan was only one who dissented from it when naroa barcheno said he didn't want cast or feudalism as part of india's political system. I have great admiration for him, though it must be pointed out to listeners that he was anything but liberal.
