Hispanic category is solely based on descent from a spanish speaking country. I the hispanic category is not about your race itself, s cabet. If you're japanese and you move to peru then a generation tru move the united states, you are both asian and espanic. That's just one of those arbitrary things in our system. i don't think anyone doubts ther spanic because their ancestors, or themselves, did learn spanish and adopt some sort of sp Spanish culture.
