I think that one of the consequences of the last 20 years, and these are very misguided interventions, is a lot of fatigue for foreign policy in the US. So I think that the war with China, potentially, or even embarking on a foreign policy, which is a serve towards China, it raises people's hackles a little bit. And then you could just look at what China is actually saying and doing by creating this huge market area where they're increasingly clear about what they want to do. That sounds arcane, but actually, if you look at why great power wars have tended to go for aggressors like Japan, 1941, Germany, 1914, Googles says.
