How to Make a Fake Portfolio of Startups

"I didn't have any money. Like traditionally the advice if you're getting into VC is like, oh, just angel invest," he says. "So I kind of came up with this idea: I just like hacked it together." He created a fake portfolio of startups and wrote memos on each one but had no professional training to really know what he was doing. That's how he got some interviews - by creating a fake track record.
