Is Happiness Measured by Self Contentment?

As a child, i used to just wanted to be happy. I think we really don't put value on that. Value is not measured by money or groups of people around you. My biggest personal fear is being alone. It's been very difficult for me as an extravert af the person is very spocially engaged. The past doesn't necessarily change your present but can always change your future.
