Is VAV ECMO a Good Choice for Cardiogenic Shock?

The setting of hypoxia, hypercarbia, acidosis is that like perfect storm for increased pulmonary vascular resistance. Now you have cardiogenic shock down here. While that's not a contradiction to ECMO, it might not be an ideal choice for VV. But those are definitely patients that can do really well with this therapy.
