Every animal can sense certain aspects of its environment, but not all of them. Even things that are really familiar and every day a we only understand a small part of it. I think so much of this is about mastering our own interior worlds and being open to the experiences of others. And in the process of communicating you have an obligation to find out what gets the other person going.
