Filippo nini was the head of police for lombardia, and he got a phone call from a man named gabriella carponese. ivano savioni had been mouthing off about how he'd found the guy that killed gooche o. So they were able to find out that patrizia actually still owed money for the hit. They wire tapped everybody involved, all their phones, and there were tons of incriminating conversations going on. The main thing was that pina turned on her and told them everything.
