Music seems to act upon the memory in a way that other things just don't, at least for me. But there's got to be a lot of heterogeneity. So some people, like me, and maybe like kelly, you'll hear a piece of music and you never forget it really. When you hear it again, it conjures an emotional state or some kind of memory. And i've always thought about the why i don't think i have great answers,. but maybe between you and me, we can come up with some responses to kelly.
