The Blazers' Trade for Matisse Thiebel
I love everything about this is the exact kind of guy that they should have been chasing for mid-level exception money. It's just a really, really smart trade across the board. And now they've offersheated Matisse Thiebel at three years, 33 million. I'm skeptical and dubious that he's going to continue to shoot at a reasonable level. But if you're Dallas and you have Luca Donchich and Kyrie Irving and you need somebody who can just be a monster point of attack defender,. it makes more sense for them to pay him that money than it does for Portland to match that money.
