And that essential step towards the silencing of non human voices was to imagine that only humans were capable of telling stories. You know, whereas before that, i mean, in europe, as elsewhere, our people had always thought of so many other kinds of beings as being capable of making meaning. I think once you open the door or to the other beings that exist, it quickly, it quickly opens the door to all kinds of unseen, unseen beings as well, you know.
