The China Battery Factory in Michigan Is Emblematic of the Green Energy Revolution
CNN's John Sutter looks at a potential battery factory in Michigan. He says the company has submitted documents to an interagency panel that reviews transactions involving foreign investments. Republicans like Representative John Molinar are saying, no, thank you to this factory; it is in his district. The U.S. and others around the world are trying to lessen their dependence on China for energy supply chain but estimates range from 10 years to more than a decade.
