There's a whole ethic, a notion that we are alive now by the power of the Holy Spirit through the resurrection from the dead. We await for our bodily resurrection when Christ returns. But right now we presently have that in a heavenly in the highest heavens. And Peter is just expounding on that notion. So if you like those themes in Paul, then you ought to love first Peter so much.
