James Blunt's Life and Career

James signed a publishing deal with EMI shortly after leaving the army. His debut album Back to Bedlam was released in late 2004, contained the smash hit singles You're Beautiful and Goodbye My Lover. In 2006, our guest won two Brits and the Ivan Novello for most performed work for You're Beautiful. He was also nominated for five awards at the 2007 Grammys. The country folk-tinged moon landing dropped in 2013; 2017's The Afterlough saw James dabble in Electronica and programmed beats.
