Jimmy Carter's reputation has been saved entirely by the fact that every single person who came after him was an utterly deranged war criminal. And his war crime was like, so suppressing a, well, he was a peanut farmer. Imagine, imagine demonizing peanuts because there's a group of people that can eat peanuts. You know what I mean? Like that is, that's, that's why, like, why would you ever do that? To be fair, I am okay with demonizing peanuts specifically if it gets people to stop eating them.
