Compliments - Is That What You Get Most of the Time?

I have this weird relationship with compliments. I usually don't like compliments unless they're a little backhanded. It's also imposter syndrome. That being said, I do appreciate it when people say nice things. And I am working on having a nicer internal dialogue because there's no reason to be mean to yourself.
