The sheer amount of data that we have been able to use to train AI's is like all of the text of the internet that Google has to, right? We take everything we've ever been exposed to and use that to create our own new things. That said, there's a lot of ethical concerns about whether it's right to take the style of an artist and create new works without them in their style, without paying them. I think there's some ethical concerns we still have to shake down.
