Is AOL's Filtering a Good Idea?

Twitter provided the little checkmark, right? Doesn't that seem like that is validating? Right. It's saying, hey, we did some kind of work to validate this. But there's also the second half of the protection. So it's like they don't want to make it such that if someone makes an effort to filter their stuff a bit,. That would open them up to liability and therefore disincentivize anyone for making any effort.
