The Ethics of Belief
A hundred years ago, cambridge mathematician w k clifford wrote a piece called the ethics of belief. He said that it's wrong for anyone to form any belief upon insufficient evidence. His wife is an infectious diseased pharmacis and she has incredibly tended training in how to evaluate studies. She was working 14 hour days studying all the latest studies coming in when pandemic started. We rely on those experts because we have established them at a very high level. And i'm watching these bonds of trust just disintegrate as there's nothing i can do about it. I get lost completely when she starts talking about the relation betwenvitro studies.
