Why Diversity in Clinical Trials Is So Important
We often hear drug companies get criticized for having very low diversity in their clinical trials. Can you talk about why it's so important to have diversity in clinical trials? I mean, in your peace you citea statistics showing that presscant or mortality has fallen for every one, but it's still forty % higher for black women than for white women. And these kinds of disparities persist across medicine in different areas and i think not having equal representation is a part of that disparity.
