The ipeo ports thunderbolt and uas before any transfer data up to forty gigabits per second. For me personally, no, it's not a problem. I could see how for some people who have really bought into the thunderboltico system of accessories, this may be a problem. This will continue on other devices because of the way that ipad hardware and suftwere have moved along over the last few years.
