The Different Dialects of Cree

I'm from Manitoba, so I originally learned the swampy crease. Then I moved to Alberta to do my PhD and took classes in Plains Cree. And then where I worked was a version of Plains Cree. So different sounds, different dialectical differences. Are they mutually comprehensible? It depends on people's attitudes about whether or not they want to agree that they understand people in Quebec.
