The Ottoman Empire

The ottomans were very much an asian empire, no question about that. They would eventually spread east across southwest asia and into parts of central asia. In the sixteenth century, they would send the navy as far into asia as in danesia and south east asia. At their height, in the seventeenth century, the ottoman controlled almost as much as a quarter of europe. And this included stretching into southern poland. The ottomons besieged, but weren't able to conquer vienna. But they did hold all south eastern europe for 500 years or so.
