Sometimes in the book you step further away from who you are and create kind of a character for yourself. And so it did in a way help me access some things that I felt like almost like oven mitts, you know like the material was so hot that I needed a little bit of distance or alittle bit of padding,. as the writer to give the permission to go to some of those places.
